“Prospering Presence of God Within”

Even a thief can prosper, but at what cost? As the Bible states, “What profiteth a man if he gaineth the world and loseth his soul?” A person may focus on almost nothing but money, be an atheist, and nonetheless prosper. The reason for this is that all of the person’s energy and focus are being placed on their income.

Without spirituality in one’s life, and with a focus solely on money, there may be a tendency to open oneself to engage in deceitful business practices. The old “anything for a buck” type of energy rules the person’s consciousness and conscience. It is in such a state of mental self-centeredness that morality and ethics are lacking.

In this state of mind, one may indeed gain the world in one’s own way, but lose one’s soul in the process. This is the way taken by a great many people in today’s world. They have an attitude of “anything goes,” as long as they can prosper from it. As a result, most lose love, peace of mind, health and other measures of true human wealth.

Down through the ages, mystics, who, through years of meditating, discovered the Presence of God within themselves, have prospered without having to lose their soul in the process; or diminish love, peace of mind or health in their lives.

While prospering is not a mystic’s first priority in life, many have become prosperous as a result of their love and practice of higher spiritual truth. The highest spiritual truth, of course, is that God is within you, and your highest or truest self is one with God in the consciousness of your mind. The more real this truth becomes to you—or to anyone—the more prosperity will ensue.

Prosperity consciousness begets prosperity in material form. If it is based on the Presence of God within you, it is then based on the highest prospering truth, for it mentally invokes God’s Presence to support you.

Christ advised, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and all things will be added unto you.” He also said, “The Kingdom of Heaven is within you.” He was advising that if you want to prosper, you must first go within—into the Kingdom of Heaven where God lives—and all things will be added unto you.

The best way to seek first the Presence of God or the Kingdom of Heaven is through meditation. The type of meditation referred to here is more mystical or eastern, where the purpose or goal is to have direct contact with the higher consciousness that is God or Universal Mind and Spirit within you. Such contact on a daily basis attunes you to—and maintains your attunement to—the higher consciousness in your own mind, which is God or the Consciousness Source for all the prospering you can experience through spiritual means.

Every day you meditate, you maintain and increase the flow of higher consciousness energy from the innermost center of your mind to the outermost or conscious level of your mind. In this flow of higher consciousness energy, thought energy is intuitively entering your conscious mind as guidance on how to prosper.

When you meditate, you open the conscious level of your mind to the Allness contained in the Consciousness of God. This Allness contains a universal variety of ways and means of dealing with or handling everything in the Universe.

God’s Consciousness, becoming a part of the conscious level of your mind, thus increases your state of mental beingness to be flexible and adaptable. If you are meditating daily, and have achieved this mental state of flexibility and adaptability, you can handle almost anything that may appear that has to do with your prosperity.

Every thought you think enters the telepathic level of your mind and travels telepathically to all other minds. The thoughts enter the unconscious level of the minds of every human being. They surface to the conscious level in one or more people who may be directly or indirectly involved in one’s present or future prospering.

The method of telepathic travel is through the medium of Universal or Divine Mind. The more you meditate, the more God’s abundance is part of the energies of your thoughts. The more energized your thoughts are, as they are received by others, the more prosperity you experience.

At the innermost center of your mind shines a brilliant Light. It is a portion of the Universal Light-Mind of God. The Bible states, “And from Light ALL things came forth.” This is a mystical truth that describes Universal God-Light as the source for all things.

That portion at the center of your mind contains the wisdom and creativity necessary to intuitively direct your conscious mind to prospering. Just imagine or visualize your mind as circle within circle. The outermost circle is your conscious mind and the innermost circle or center of your mind is the Universal God-Light level of your mind. As you imagine or visualize this, imagine that God is sending wisdom and creativity from the Light center to the outermost conscious level of your mind. Affirm that such wisdom and creativity will prosper you.

God’s Light at the center of your mind can travel into other levels of your mind’s consciousness. As it does, it sublimates or transforms darkened poverty or lack-thought energies into Light. The Light that is God contains the universe within itself, and therefore is prosperity itself. The most prosperous Presence that is, then, is contained at all levels of your mind, thereby allowing your conscious mind the openness to receive the direction and what it needs, to know how to prosper.
