“The Prospering of a Thankful Attitude”
Being thankful is just as important to our success and happiness as being positive. Being thankful is the culmination of a positive attitude since a positive attitude leads us to something for which to be thankful. Thankfulness is positivity having come into fruition. Therefore, thankfulness is a demonstration of faith realized.
Having a thankful attitude as we go through our day can be as helpful in realizing our goals and dreams, as anything we can have in our consciousness. Most people in today’s world fail to achieve what they believe they want or need in life because they are not thankful enough for what they already have or have experienced.
Ultimately, all ideas that are good begin in the mind of God, which exists at the center of the human mind. The more we tune into the mind of God, the greater the likelihood that we will tap into, and intuitively experience, a creative idea energy that exists in the mind of God within us which can set into motion whatever is necessary to experience the good in our physical life reality.
Giving thanks continually in our lives for all good experienced is an acknowledgement of prosperity. We must realize that the more we give thanks, the more we are building and maintaining a prosperity attitude in our consciousness. Metaphysically, having a prosperity attitude encourages further prosperity, since such a mind-set becomes like a psychic-spiritual magnet, drawing more good into our sphere of physical life experience.
Giving thanks acknowledges that there is something in our lives that we possess or experience that is ours. Thus, our possession or experience of the good that we are prospering, and giving thanks for, acknowledges that we are prosperous or prospering. There is a very true expression that says, “It takes money to make money.” However, as prosperity first begins in the mind, a prosperous mental attitude precedes a physical demonstration of prosperity.
Taking a person’s life as a whole, allowing for natural cycles of highs and lows, the good in a person’s life is a reflection of their consciousness. The more we give thanks, the more we build an attitude of thankfulness, which translates itself into a prosperity attitude. Giving thanks is expressing a claim to prosperity. The concept of “like attracts like,” is appropriate here because a prospering attitude attracts further good through the spiritual law of attraction. In other words, those who have prosperity, receive still more.
Metaphysically, the more we believe we have by giving thanks for it, the more we are likely to attract. It is as if we pick up or stimulate a psychic-spiritual momentum in our own mind, which later materializes itself as a physical manifestation in our lives. The point being made here is that if we do not already have a great deal of good materialized physically in our lives, that giving of continual thanks to God for what we already do have creates a prosperous attitude. This better allows God to put into motion such psychic-spiritual thought-energy as to attract and bring into physical realization our aspirations.
The more you give thanks on a conscious level of your mind, the more your conscious-level thoughts travel into the subconscious memory level of your mind to build an ever-increasing attitude of thankfulness, which in turn becomes a prosperous attitude that attracts further good to you. As an attitude of thankfulness and prosperity grows in the memory level of your mind, the more it will reflect back into your conscious mind and influence your conscious mind into still further thankfulness and prosperous thought.
Most importantly, the interplay of your conscious and subconscious memory level, or the spiritual or God part of your mind will be better able to intuitively guide you to bring about greater good in your life.
This is because the God part of your mind can function more effectively, on an influential intuitive level, when your conscious and subconscious memory levels are both positive in their attitude, as they would be through attitudes of thankfulness and prosperity.
If more people were more thankful for specific spiritual blessings, they would be receiving more physical world manifestation as a result. The reason for this is that the more we are thankful for the spiritual aspect of our lives, the closer we draw to the Presence of God within ourselves. This, in turn, activates greater spiritual power for good into our lives.
Specific spiritual blessings can include being aware that the Kingdom of God and Heaven exist within the deeper levels of one’s own mind and that a human being may have direct access to making contact with such inner realities.
Being aware that at the deepest, innermost center of one’s being, the Presence of the Infinite, the Eternal, Universal Mind and Spirit or Presence of God exists, and that one’s own soul is forever one with God’s Presence, and may, through increased attunement to that oneness, bring forth greater good into one’s life through God’s Grace.
The more inwardly aware a person is to the intuitive promptings of God’s Presence, the greater the likelihood of sublimating past karma into positive present or future action, thereby lessening and eventually freeing altogether any negative karma from one’s soul.
The greater one’s awareness of what truly is Spiritual, and what is not (the passing temporary), the greater the desire to do God’s Will. Individuals possessing any of the above specific blessings can indeed be grateful for them for their entire lives.
