There are many who present themselves as healers, as well as many methods of treatment, from the most primitive to what is described as the science of today. Everything has its place and time in the Universe—the Universe in Mystical Reality being the thought process of Universal Consciousness or God. And, if everything indeed does have its place and time in human experience—including healing—then in the human expression or practice of healing there is no “one size fits all” manner of treatment or one kind of healer above all others.

From a mystical perspective, healing and healers are viewed from what, in fact, is really taking place. By way of example, consider Jesus, who at least appeared to perform miracles of healing. When credit was directed toward him, the Christ Mind that was in him responded with the words: “It is not I, but the Father which doeth these works.” He spoke the great mystical Truth about healing, healers, and healing methods—the Truth that only the Universal Consciousness or God actually does the healing.

Making Changes—When and How

Making changes is a necessary part of life. For a greater sense of security while living through such changes, identify with God’s unchanging Presence within you. And know that God’s Presence gives you the courage, wisdom and power to know when to make those changes and how to make them effectively.

Affirmations for this lecture by Dr. Paul Leon Masters:

  • Change: I recognize that making changes is a necessary part of life in order to improve and/or learn from human experience.
  • Eternity: I understand that I have a greater sense of security by identifying with God’s Unchanging Presence within myself while living through necessary changes in my outer physical life.
  • Meditation: Through my daily practice of meditation, I am intuitively led and guided as to when and how to make changes in my life.
  • When: I affirm and declare that I will intuitively know when to make changes, be it in my personal life, career, or any other area of my life.
  • Courage: I declare that I have the courage to make changes, for I depend on God’s Presence, Wisdom, and Power within me to provide what is necessary to make changes positively and effectively.
  • Will: As with all else in my life, when making changes I give up my personal will to the Universal Will and Power of God’s Presence within me to accomplish necessary changes positively and effectively.
  • Already So: In God’s Mind within me, all changes in my life have already been accomplished at the right time and in a positive, successful way.
  • My Future: I affirm and declare that I am secure and at peace within myself, knowing that the timing and how-to of all changes in my life are materialized into physical manifestation through God’s Presence and Power throughout my future.

The Ultimate Teacher

“The Ultimate Teacher”

A person may attend the most prestigious universities filled with professors who have impressive credentials and academic achievements, and from a worldly understanding, one would tend to believe that these are the ultimate source of teaching and knowledge. In such worshipping of traditional academia, the concept of a higher teaching source becomes blurred.

To suggest that life’s ultimate teacher is God seems naïve when compared to what can be learned in traditional academia, or even in traditional universities that are faith-based—universities that acknowledge God’s Presence as the Ultimate Teacher, but fail as students become mere parrots, echoing the dogma of the particular theology of that denomination. Scholastic achievement, whether secular or non-secular, becomes the idealized goal. Life is then scripted from outside sources rather than created by the guidance of the Inner Source, the Ultimate Teacher, or God.
