The Ultimate Teacher

“The Ultimate Teacher”

A person may attend the most prestigious universities filled with professors who have impressive credentials and academic achievements, and from a worldly understanding, one would tend to believe that these are the ultimate source of teaching and knowledge. In such worshipping of traditional academia, the concept of a higher teaching source becomes blurred.

To suggest that life’s ultimate teacher is God seems naïve when compared to what can be learned in traditional academia, or even in traditional universities that are faith-based—universities that acknowledge God’s Presence as the Ultimate Teacher, but fail as students become mere parrots, echoing the dogma of the particular theology of that denomination. Scholastic achievement, whether secular or non-secular, becomes the idealized goal. Life is then scripted from outside sources rather than created by the guidance of the Inner Source, the Ultimate Teacher, or God.

One of the greatest examples of learning from the Ultimate Teacher was Jesus. While extensively learning what Judaism offered in his day, it was too limited. It spoke about God and how God wanted one to live, but not how to be taught by God directly. What it produced parallels traditional religious universities of today—the parroting of theologies, rather than teaching directly from God’s Presence within oneself. This does not create whole people—which should be the goal of learning—but rather birds of a feather or collective parroting.

Now those who have mystical awareness are not upset by the scholastics of this world. They know that the vast majority of souls that incarnate into the physical plane of earth’s existence are not ready for ultimate teaching, and so they must be taught by the standards of lesser awareness. Most assuredly, traditional academia is valuable in producing technicians trained in a specialty to help others, such as medical physicians and the various sciences, but it is not valuable in producing—except for a very, very few—whole and complete people, who are taught by the Ultimate Teacher or God.

Candidly, if a person has awakened to mystical awareness—that is, an inner mystical union with God’s Presence within themselves—only then are they taught by the Ultimate Teacher, which is Universal Consciousness, Spirit, or God. It is only then—when a person is becoming whole and complete—that they look upon the knowledge of academia in an entirely different way, and receiving wisdom from the Ultimate Teacher and living that wisdom, becomes their way of life.

True Wisdom, synonymous with true Spirituality, cannot be taught by outside scholastic sources. It is received as a gift from God when a soul is ready for an awakening to greater realities beyond the sensory impressions of the physical world.
