“Life as a School”

If a person were to attempt to derive some spiritual meaning from life, it could be likened unto a temporary school, occupied by one’s soul as it makes its way through eternity.  Life and its experiences become as instructors, teaching each soul to better understand the reality of life according to the soul’s evolvement to comprehend it on a conscious level. Herein is part of life’s mystery, that the soul learns consciously or unconsciously.

Everything that is experienced becomes part of the subconscious memory-levels of one’s mind, whether seen or unseen, whether of this physical world or other worlds.  A person may therefore be unaware that their soul is going through a learning process. The main consideration, however, is that learning is taking place and that it has effects on one’s soul.

“Healing a Love Relationship”

Healing a love relationship is one of the most important things you can do in your life. After all, love is life’s most precious human experience. When the love relationship in your life is right, the world is a much better place to be in, with the sky looking bluer and the grass greener! When the love in your life is in a negative state, it can cause great emotional and even physical pain. No emotional turmoil seems to be greater than that which one may experience in regard to love.

When a love relationship is in trouble, there is no doubt that a healing of some kind should take place. The need for the healing of a personal relationship can manifest at various stages of a relationship, for example, before great involvement, definitely during involvement, and certainly after a relationship ends.

“Is It Love or Fantasy?”

St. Paul once commented that the greatest thing is love. He was expressing life’s greatest truism, for love is the most wonderful of all of life’s experiences. Indeed, even if a person had total wisdom, the conclusion derived from all that knowledge would be that of all things in life, love is the most important.

This is so, for in love we find the foremost of all Universal Truths—that there is but One Life in this Universe, and all manifestations are bonded or in union with the One Life that is God. Love is the experience of unity, and therefore, Universal Unity is Universal Love. This is why we can draw the conclusion, quite comfortably, that God is Love.

“The Power of Spiritual Concentration”

In today’s complex world, more than ever before, so much is competing for one’s attention. It is increasingly easier to become distracted from whatever it is that a person attempts to improve or accomplish in one’s life. People living in contemporary society simply have much more to do and be responsible for than did previous generations.

There may be less to do in regard to physical work, perhaps because of the high-tech age into which the world has moved, but this has been replaced with work requiring our mental attention or concentration. Our daily lifestyle requires a state of mind that can maintain concentration on appropriate priorities, if we are to remain on track as to what is expected of us by others and, most importantly, what we expect of ourselves.

For many of us, maintaining any consistent degree of concentration is difficult due to the demands which we may be facing in our daily lives. Thus, attempting to maintain concentration may, in itself, become a source of stress, as we struggle with our minds to keep them focused on the business at hand. Such stress is even more pronounced if a person is functioning on a purely intellectual level in life, without the support and relief that the spiritual presence of God within a person’s mind can provide to the more surface levels that are attempting to maintain concentration.
