James D. Wheeler’s Journey to the Divine Connection

James D. Wheeler has dedicated the majority of his life to the unofficial study of metaphysics, driven by a profound and lifelong curiosity about the intricate connections between the divine and the mortal. Holding multiple degrees, including a B.Msc, BS, MS, MBA, and DD, Reverend Wheeler’s purpose has revolved around the notion of seeking the face of God and fostering a deep connection with divinity.

His personal metaphysical journey began in his early teens. A 10th-grade Bible class that introduced him to comparative theology sparked a fervent interest in studying world religions. While the curriculum at the time presented a traditional view of Christianity, he embarked on a broader exploration. In his early twenties, he became a minister, focusing on bringing healing to individuals who had been hurt by religious institutions. His ministry, “Operation Jericho Ministries,” operated under the powerful tagline, “Breaking down the walls between God and those whom the church has hurt.”

A truly profound insight gained throughout this journey was the realization that truth is ubiquitous and interdependent. He measures truth by the principle that all truth is repeated and cannot exist in isolation. The widely recognized “golden rule” serves as a prime example of this universal principle, appearing across most religious traditions. However, the “silver rule”—to not do to others the things you don’t want done to you—holds particular significance for him. This understanding profoundly transformed his perspective, highlighting that the divine spark is present and accessible to anyone, from any faith tradition. Through concepts like Christ Consciousness, meditation, prayer, and unfiltered love for one’s fellow human, he believes we are drawn into the sacred space of the divine.

Reverend Wheeler holds a Bachelor of Metaphysical Science degree, B.Msc., from the University of Metaphysics. He specializes in spiritual counseling, meditation, and personal development. He offers a range of services designed to help others forge their own divine connections. These include individual spiritual counseling, hypnosis, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), available both in-person and via video calls. He also conducts courses and workshops on Reiki, Mindfulness, and meditation. Furthermore, he is an accomplished public speaker, sharing insights on these and other related topics.

While he has not yet authored any books or published works, his overall mission and philosophy in all endeavors remain deeply personal: “seeking the face of the divine.” Through his work, he hopes to guide others toward this profound connection, empowering them on their own spiritual paths.
