Rev. Dr. Laszlo Gideon Laky, Ph.D.

 

Dr. Laz is a certified hypnotherapist in Carmel, California, using hypnosis to help clients experiencing depression and exploring in what context cancer can be healed. His practice is Pebble Beach Hypnosis. He recently received his Certificate of Hypnotherapy from the Science of Hypnopsychology. Dr. Laz is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, the largest and oldest hypnotherapy membership organization.

Dr. Laz earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Sedona, specializing in Transpersonal Counseling, and his Master of Metaphysical Science (M.Msc.) from the University of Metaphysics. He studied and wrote his thesis and dissertation about metaphysical communications, the subconscious and the superconscious. He believes we are all psychic and telepathic and that we are moving toward higher levels of consciousness, a shift in reality and a spiritual awakening.

He received his Bachelor of Science from UC Berkeley and pursued an intellectually demanding career in Telecommunications and Internet technologies, while always maintaining his interest in the workings of the mind. The Internet is helping us do what we were struggling to do with telepathy. In ancient times, we were all much more sentient. We are now trying to relearn it, and technology is helping. As a young man, Dr. Laz was intrigued by the notion of the group mind. Since then, Dr. Laz has pursued his interests in how the mind works and what is responsible for consciousness. Dr. Laz studied Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Remote Viewing.

In March 2013, Dr. Laz produced and sponsored the first Subconscious Summit in Carmel, California. The theme was how to reach the subconscious to change your life, to become happier, healthier, and more successful and have a better life. Look for the next conference in the spring of 2014.

In conjunction with the Science of Hypnopsychology Workshop series, Dr. Laz will lead a workshop to celebrate the immense popularity of the mystic poet Rumi in Western culture. Rumi may have been one of the great spiritual leaders of his time. He has had a profound reemergence in the world today. There are fundamental things we can learn from this scholar and poet. The workshop presentation and lecture will be held in July, 2013.
