There is a powerful relationship between sexuality and spirituality in the human psyche. Sexuality is not simply a strong biological urge; it has a spiritual reality. Down through the ages, mystics have known and taught that sexuality is the outer physical manifestation of a spiritual urge to have mystical union with God, or to reestablish an intimate relationship between the human soul and the eternal Spirit.

Certainly, through recently recorded time, sexuality has been degraded by the spiritually unaware. The need for reconnecting to God is so strong an urge in some, without an awareness of the real truth underlying their desire, they are often driven to the lowest forms of sexual expression.

When one contemplates eternity, it brings a sense of something that is timeless, without beginning or ending—something that has always been and will always be.  Let’s step forward in concept and realize that all—you, me, and everyone—exist in and as a part of Eternity.  In this earthly plane we exist in time and we are part of humanness, but in Absolute Reality, we are existent within and as a part of Eternity.

Now Eternity and all that it is, has always existed and thus has had sufficient endless time to become conscious of itself.  All timed existences, inclusive of humanity, are as thought processes moving within Eternity. Eternity or Eternal Life is another way of describing the Ultimate Life Consciousness of all that is, or—God.

The urge and the power to create is so powerful that the unmanifest moved within Itself to create manifestation.  And because all that was manifested was of the very same presence, the power to create was similarly powerful within the creations.  The infinite power to create remains one with its finite creation—the human being.  Male and female energies of duality, moved by sexuality—a power greater than themselves—instinctively feel the pull to be joined with each other sexually.

What has all of this to do with prostitution?  To the point—everything.  To understand the presence of prostitution, one must understand it mystically—meaning the driving power to act sexually.  The power of universal creation process is behind every human urge toward sexual activity.  To prove the point, one has only to look at some of the misfortunes of some famous modern men in high positions whose urge toward sexuality overcame them, driving them to risk everything that it might have taken them years to build, now lost to the sexual push within them.  They gambled their positions to satisfy this powerful drive, and presidents, kings, politicians, and clergy have succumbed.
