Recently, Dr. Oz, host of one of the most popular medical shows in the United States, has come under attack by some of his medical peers. Although Dr. Oz is very respected as a surgeon, some have gone so far as to accuse him of presenting quackery on his telecasts. In recent years, many physicians like Dr. Oz have branched out into alternative and complementary healing modalities as an adjunct to their practice, but they have had to suffer the contempt of their traditional, allopathic peers. So it is not just a matter of conflict between traditional allopathic medicine and those who practice spiritual healing, but it is also a matter of conflict within the ranks of the medical community itself.

Rising above Personal Insecurities: One of the reasons people have difficulties in life is because their insecure egos cause them to spend too much time comparing themselves to others. Whenever they feel they are not as good as others, they can become jealous, defensive, combative, or try to escape situations through drugs, alcohol, or other self-destructive behaviors. The lesson here is to not let the insecurities of your ego run away with your mind by negatively comparing yourself to others. Instead, give up your insecure ego to the security and power of God’s Presence within you, which will give you all the strength you need to rise above your personal insecurities and anything that occurs in life.

Psychic Sight… Seeing Beyond

Psychic Sight . . . Seeing Beyond: When the Bible states, “If thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be filled with light,” it is referring to psychic sight. Although experiences of psychic sight may include vibrant colors, energy patterns, images of gods, goddesses, and more, the end goal is only to experience mystical union with God.

Affirmations for “Psychic Sight… Seeing Beyond” by Dr. Paul Leon Masters:

Christian Reference: I understand that reference to psychic sight, the third eye, or seeing beyond within, exists in the New Testament in the words, ”If thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.”
End Goal: I understand that the end goal of paranormal sight is mystical union, or union with God.
Meditation: I understand that I may have paranormal visionary or psychic sight perceptions as I move progressively toward mystical union.
Diversionary: I understand that while some paranormal sight experiences have a fascination connected with them, I will not become diverted by them from my end goal of mystical union with God.
Sight Stages: I understand that paranormal sight perception generally starts in the forehead area; then expands to the entire inner head area; then includes the interior of the body down to the reproductive area; and finally, in mystical union, there is no sense of a physical body at all—only infinite God Light Presence.

“You Are What You Think” or “Thinking Makes It So”

Since the advent of what can be described as New Thought Metaphysics, the saying “You are what you think” has been accepted by many. To scores of people it forms the nucleus of positive spirituality. It is the foundation of all positive-thinking movements, whether of a spiritual or self-help nature. The concept is that if you think positively, your life will be positive; but the reverse will be true if you think negatively. Carrying this concept still further into the psychic realm of interacting energies, there is the so-called law of attraction.

We know that each soul will awaken to certain levels of understanding with every passing lifetime. Souls who are currently in a level of “You are what you think” are basically content that they have achieved some sort of absolute spirituality upon which to base their lives. And, from their previous perspectives of life, they have. There is, of course, a wide gap between power-of-thought metaphysics and religions based upon the precepts of hell and damnation. Therefore, to those who have made this giant leap, it would seem that they have possibly arrived at some pinnacle of spiritual wisdom. Plus, from this position, emerges still another popular saying: “Your thinking makes it so,” which suggests that the power of thought can manifest one’s needs or desires.
